On offer is this used / secondhand Meheen X1 6 head 330ml filler which is mid 2015 year new. The seller who provided the advertisement details has outlined it is: Designed for the O-I Glass 330ml long neck craft bottle. Suitable for filling products such as bottle beer, cider, soda, rtd’s, juice, water, tea & coffee.
The machine was custom designed for us in mid 2015. In mint condition showing general signs of use. The machine has had had minimal usage collectively less than 50 times on small runs of less than 2000 litres. Runs of New Zealand single phase. Filler comes with bottle rinse tray, currently not attached to machines (see pictures) and x2 bottle grabbers (see pictures) along with a selection of spare parts.
Meheen fillers allow complete control over your product. From the filling mode screen we can monitor the entire process and make adjustments on the fly if required. Real time visual displays allow us to monitor, product temperature, liquid psi and bottle psi. Monitoring liquid psi is the most important factor when bottling with a counter-pressure filler. Having your product tank at the incorrect pressure for the product conditions will result in inconsistent fills. A tank pressure which is too low will result in excess foaming creating uneven fills and wasted product, where a too high pressure will result in no or little foaming of the product which results in not capping on foam and the possibility of oxygen pickup.
Unlike a rotary filler which pours product from the top of the bottle, Meheen’s use long filling straws that penetrate into the bottles, filling from the bottom up resulting in a gentle pour with little disturbance to the product. The small portable footprint and multitude of possible configurations makes bottling a breeze in any location. Meheen fillers are
pneumatically powered for long-term reliability. No motors gears or bearings to maintain. All parts are exposed and easily replaced or trouble shooted via the computer. The fillers are custom engineered for a specific O-I Glass bottle, there is however a tolerance allowing the use of bottles with similar heights and widths. Pop-top and twist-off crowns are both applicable.
