On offer are two used coal fired hot water boilers. The seller has outlined: TAYMAL boilers 880Kw with precast concrete earthquake restraint plinths mountings. Manufactured in 1989 and under Stork Tec services annual survey. These are ex-hospital boilers with associated plant. Decommissioned three years ago and removed in September 2015. Heat pump: electric driven - ASEA 5.5kW @ 950 rpm. 125 Dia N.C.P. - GR 12.5" - 315 Kiwi Perfecta pumps. 1450 rpm - duty 14.36/s V.S. 248kPa mounted on spring mountings. Stokers: TAYLORS model 300 Bunker flow type 6.0m in length and in three sections with share pins. Blower: FLEXCON 600/1.5 expansion vess 15CWS. The boilers were completely overhauled and tested and still working prior to decommissioning. Purchaser would be responsible for assessing working order and condition of the equipment. These boilers are still assembled as shown in the photos but the external cladding that was around both of them is no longer available. The boiler is not now fitted to the plinth, but can be refitted if needed. Over all height without plinth is 2200mm x 1860mm wide. We have checked that the complete boiler & extra parts will fit into an open top shipping container. The boilers themselves are 1682mm wide x 2844mm.

The owner has suggested that if a buyer were to take all the associated equipment such as the feed augers and pumps they would sell them for $12,500 + GST each.
