This edge cutting saw has been used to cut granite slabs for bench tops. It can cut a slab 3250mm x 1700mm to a depth of 300mm with its 800mm diameter blade. Production capacity between 0.5 and 1 square metre per hour using 60 litres of water per minute.

Turn table rotates 360 degrees and can be locked at 90 degrees to facilitate cutting on all sides. This is supported by bearings and hardened steel balls.
Requires a working space of 6500mm x 6000mm x 3500mm.

It has a rigid fabricated main beam with hardened ground strips ensuring smooth movement of the carriage. The long travel movement of the carriage is variable and is through gear box, rack and pinion as is the cutting feed of the carriage. The spindle is made of special steel and is supported by precision bearings. The vertical cut depth is controlled by a motor, worm and wheel. Has a centralized lubrication system.

The motor (spindle) is 15hp and the saw feed motor is 2hp.
