These new milk cooling vats come in either 400, 500, 650, 800, 1000, 1250, 1500, 2000 and 2500 litre sizes. The four largest sizes require 3 phase power but the others can all be supplied in a single phase version. The 2500 litre is designed for four milkings and the others for two.

Have a sealed top over it with a manhole lid and the agitator is fix mounted. With this type you would need a CIP for thorough cleaning. The unit mounted on the side is its own CIP system.

They are made by a large company in Greece. The standard of manufacture is very high with many products made by this company already being used in New Zealand after passing MPI inspection.
