A bran finisher separates any flour particles still adhering to the bran, thus increasing flour yield in the mill. By means of slanted beater strips that increase the movement of the incoming flow of material, the bran finisher removes any flour particles still adhering to the bran. The special screen geometry causes the screen to vibrate. This keeps the screen perforations clear, and ensures a maximum throughput of up to 1.8 ton per hour. The seller has stated that they were in good working condition when the flourmill which they were used in, was closed down.
